Aathikadavu Avinashi Project
Kalingarayan Kulam is incorporated in Aathikadavu Avinashi project. Lake will get feeded from Bhavani River through piping system. During the time rainy season more the 56 TMC surplus water is flown through Bhavani River to the sea. In order to harvest the surplus water Govt of Tamilnadu initiated this project. Either the sskulam will get filled by natural streams or by the Aathikadavu avinashi Project.
Kalingarayn Kulam Paathukappu Amaippu
With continuous support from Athikadavu-Kousika River Development Association , a new team has been formed and named Kalingarayn Lake Conservation Association. We have worked towards the inauguration of the project and got proper approval from Public Works Department (PWD). This project got initiated on 11.11.2019.
